How To Shop Smart Online, And What To Do If You Have Fallen Victim To Fraud
Read Time: 3 min 43 sec
If there is one thing we are sure about - it’s the quality and thought behind our products.
At TYME we focus on bringing real change into the lives of women all over the world. We can only bring that change through the quality of our products and how we teach and encourage women to use them.
We have spent years developing the TYME Iron and the entire TYME line of products because we truly believe in the value of spending more time doing the things we love, instead of in the bathroom.
We believe our products allow our customers to be the best, most authentic version of themselves. Our focus is you and your individual experience with an iron made from the highest quality components available. The TYME Iron is made with professional grade titanium plates that allow it to heat up in 55 seconds. We offer five different heat settings - because every hair type is different - and we have the technology to allow your iron to remember what temperature you keep your iron at.
If you are purchasing a TYMEIron dupe how do you know that they are promising and practicing the same standard of quality and safety with their products? Let alone giving you the results they’ve “promised".
Companies like Mestar(also known as Me Star Iron Pro, or 2 in 1 Mestar Iron Pro) have stollen our ads, social media and website assets, brochures, and packaging and sell a fake iron to consumers. Not only does this hurt the family-owned company that worked so hard to bring a premium product to the beauty market, but many times customers either receive a product that doesn't work, malfunctions, or never even get sent a product altogether.
When you’re shopping this holiday season - especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday - make sure you’re getting the authentic product...authenticity makes a difference. Tons of fraud companies make their money offering knockoff, cheap versions of other products, which hurts the companies that have worked so hard to bring you innovative and effective products!
We know it can be difficult to knowhow to spot a fake tyme iron vs a real TYME Iron, sohere are a few tips and tricks to make sure you’re not being taken advantage of byfraud products during shopping holidays.
Buy Directly from the Companies Website..and Check The URL
This is the safest bet. Companies typically give the best discounts on their products directly on their site**. Plus, you can always count on it being the real thing and getting the best deal, so it’s a win-win. The URL in your internet search bar typically says the name of the brand when it is a direct site. For example, our website is tymestyle.com!
**TONS of companies sell their products through Amazon...BUT most verified brands typically have their own shopping page through Amazon. Look for those shops and add those products to your shopping cart instead of reading hundreds of reviews on fake products from a weird user that doesn’t even mention the name brand.
This pertains to social media as well! Instagram and Facebook have all made it very simple to know you are purchasing from a verified company all based on the blue checkmark next to their social media handle!
Where are the “Often Bought With” Items?
When you’re online shopping there is a carousel of images towards the bottom marked “Often Bought With.” These are similar items that pair with the product you are buying. Typically they fall within the same brand line or genuinely just compliment the use of the product. If random items pop up that aren’t “on brand” with the item you’re looking at - beware of a fake product.
Check for the Full Product Line
There are hundreds of fake third party retailers online. They thrive on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and they TOTALLY bait you with their shipping deals. Does the idea of ordering new high end mugs, sweatpants, jewelry, and hair products all from one site sound legit?
Be careful.
You should always double check to make sure the site you’re ordering from carries more products from the brand your item is associated with. If you can’t find any of the other products from that brand on the site...RED FLAG.
Check the Price
Companies don’t give their products away for free...unless it’s a literal giveaway. You won’t find quality products for a fifth of the price, even if it is Black Friday. Deals and steals do exist, but be wary of the discount your getting. It could end up being a knock off.
Watch the Discount Amount.
Companies will offer percentage discounts that make sense 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, etc. This isn’t always the case, but if something like 83% or 47% comes across your screen, you might want to do a little more research into the product you are thinking of purchasing.
Shop Demo or Refurbished Products
Every company has products they use at events or for photoshoots. The retailers can’t sell these as “new” products, so they often offer them as they are, just at a significant discount. The link to these products typically lives towards the bottom of a website in the footer. And the best part? You don’t have to wait for a shopping holiday for the discount. “Gently used” means it might have a small scratch or smudge, but why should that stop you?
Fallen Victim to Scam/Fraud?
If your charge says anything other than TYME LLC, you have not purchased from us. We’re doing everything we can, and working with Facebook to get these sites taken off of social media.
If you have any information about the company you purchased from, please send it to us so we can report it.
If you paid with a credit card, the best way to get your money back is by filing a chargeback with your credit card provider. You can file the chargeback as:
Item is not as described
Did not receive the package
No response from the company

7 Easy Hairstyles For 7 Days
All of our days and lives are completely different. There are no two people who live the same schedule and therefore there is no possible way that we can depend on the numerous beauty bloggers “hairstyle hacks.” These are people who spend their entire day creating these videos.
We don't have time for that!
We’re real people who - let’s be real - would rather be doing yoga or playing with our kids over spending hours in the bathroom getting ready. That’s why we're in this business. To make lives E A S I E R.
We’re going to show you how to get seven different looks out of basic, manageable everyday curls. These are all styles that will take you from the office, or your everyday cycle, into a night of actual living and not worrying about what you look like.
Before we get started we want to preach about the potential of changing your part. We know it’s a tough sell, but try it! Getting out of your comfort zone can spark some and who knows? You might find yourself falling in love with a new look.
1. Going to a Concert
Let’s be honest, going to a concert on a weeknight is already risky business, so we don’t want to spend hours of our precious day getting ready for it, especially if we’re just going to hit the hay after.
To transition your everyday curls into concert ready, add some smaller curls that give more dimension to the top of your hair. Don’t overdo it, adding just a few of these smaller sectioned curls will totally change how your hair looks.
If you haven’t already, this is the perfect opportunity to introduce your hair to BigTYME! This will save you from spending too much time trying to tease or add volume to your hair. It’s literal magic in a bottle. Finish the style off with some hairspray and you’re good to go!
2. Family Photos
The holidays are just weeks away and people are crunching in those family photos to put on their holiday cards. With tight schedules between work, school, and extracurriculars, photo sessions might need to be on “school nights.” It’s easy to bring your everyday curls to photo ready!
Add more curls focusing on smaller sections. After your full head is curled to your potential, grab your TYME Paddle Brush and soften them up. After all, you want to look like an elevated version of your everyday self in these pictures.
3. Attending a Sports Game
As we get older and our kid's schedules start to become our schedules, a lot of our evenings are spent at games or practice. We know getting ready for a game seems silly, but it’s still a social outing. You’ll be talking to parents and coaches and want to put a serious face forward.
We suggest brushing through those everyday curls and switching up your part! Changing to a middle part can turn you from sweet to fierce in seconds!
4. Baby Shower/Wedding Shower/Engagement Party
You could easily go to any of these events with your everyday curls, but this hairstyle is SO EASY you’ll want to do it.
With a middle part, grab the two front framing sections of your hair and give them a twist to the crown of your head. Make sure the front section is full and has body. Using two bobby pins per side, secure them at the crown of your head and vuoala! You have an adorable hairstyle!
5. Football Sunday
Whether it’s hitting your favorite neighborhood bar or just sitting on the couch with your partner, it’s nice to FEEL cute! For this style, you can use your every day - or for most of us leftover from the day before - curls or even your natural hair. Part your hair deep to one side and then pull all of your hair to a low pony on the opposite side.
About two or three inches down add another small pony and repeat all the way through the end of your pony. Fluffing the sections in between ponytails makes a fun flirty look that’s easy to create. Leaving strands of your face framing pieces out can soften up this look!
6. Professional or Fundraising Event
Fancy events don’t just take place on the weekend. Rushing to get ready for a formal event can be tricky when most office hours don’t end until 5 p.m. and who wants to take PTO when it’s not for a vacation. If you know this event is coming up, it might be wise to give your hair a fuller curl in the morning, but soft everyday curls work too! We’re going to style a sleek one sided do.
Part your hair deep to one side, tucking the rest of the hair on the smaller side behind your ear. Pull that hair in a slight twist towards the nape of your neck on the opposite side and secure with a clear ponytail so it’s hidden under the ticker side of your hair.
7. Exercising
We know that it might seem silly to tell you how to do your hair to go exercise...but there is a way to do it to make your curls last! We’re going to teach you the foolproof way of creating a messy bun.
Grab all your hair and smooth it to the crown of your head. Pull your hair halfway through and wrap that half up and through to create the perfect messy bun that won’t destroy your curls.
Go forth ladies and effortlessly crush every day and every style that comes with it!

I Tried TYME Products For 6 Weeks And This Is What Happened
Read Time: 4 min 55 sec
I’d best describe my #selfcare tactics as L A Z Y. In my world, work is king. If I’m spending time during the day doing anything other than my job, it turns into an anxiety frenzy of “Oh no! Why did you waste all of that time?” This included spending too much time getting ready. So my long bob cut lends itself to my chaotic lifestyle of being over-caffeinated and overworked.
In 2015, my friend and then hairstylist Savannah - now TYME stylist - told me about this “mind-blowing” iron. While sitting in her chair she pulled out this curved iron and tried to explain how to use it. I wasn’t sold, yet.
Fast forward four years and a chance meeting, days after Savannah moved back to the area, and she was now working for this company: TYME. The company that sells the iron she showed me years ago. I started looking into their products and I completely drank the Kool-Aid. The iron looked like it could work wonders, but does that lend itself to my hair?
I ended up getting the TYME Iron and the BlowTYME dryer knowing that if I couldn’t figure it out, I had one of the company’s stylists just blocks away. Two weeks into owning the iron and I was o b s e s s e d. I figured out how to curl my hair - all by myself - and it only took me less than 15 minutes to get ready - makeup and all. So, we decided to take it a step further. I knew how incredible the iron and blow dryer were, but what about the rest of the products? If the TYME team spent their time making two products this time saving, why would they waste their time making other products that aren’t as effective?
I got the whole collection. Shampoo and conditioner, thermal protectant, hair spray, volumizing powder, shine spray, and four different hair brushes. I was going to embark on a six-week TYME trial.
My Previous Routine
My hair is thinner in texture and straight, so I could get away with washing my hair twice a week - with massive amounts of dry shampoo - and it still looking o.k. I used a tea tree-based shampoo and a basic “volumizing” conditioner. My hair might have been styled in between washes, but usually, it just laid straight or was tossed into a ponytail. Dry shampoo was almost always applied on day two to make the wash last longer.
Expectations
I knew I wanted to do this trial the right way. I wanted to see if the products truly worked and how it would affect my lifestyle. I asked Savannah what my hair should be like at the end of the six weeks and made sure to thoroughly read all of the directions on the bottles.
My hair should:
Feel stronger
Last longer between washes
Hold styles longer
Hold more volume
Process
In the shower
I thoroughly wash my hair with Pregame Shampoo and try to squeeze it as close to dry as possible after washing. Once I feel my hair isn’t totally sopping wet, I apply Showoff Conditioner from the tips to the roots of my hair. I let the conditioner moisturize my hair for close to five minutes while handling the rest of my shower duties.
Blow Drying
When I’m done with the shower I try to wring out the majority of water from my hair and put it in a towel. Once my hair is about 30% dry, I apply TYME’s Upstaged Thermal Protectant. I blow dry my hair, starting with my bangs, focusing on drying my roots first.
Styling
The Upstaged Thermal Protectant is already in my hair from blow drying, so I immediately get to curling with my TYME Iron set to 375 degrees. Once my full head of hair is curled I use the TYMELESS shine spray and brush through all the curls. Applying Selfie TYME hair spraying is my last step.
Weeks 1 + 2
Total washes: 6
Week one started off rough. Our midwestern weather was touchy - per usual - and the rain held me back from truly experiencing all the benefits or TYME products. I ended up washing my hair every other day the first week and was able to stretch it to every two days by the end of the cycle. I’ll admit, it was a challenge to not use dry shampoo, but I really wanted to go through this process and train my hair the correct way.
One thing, I immediately noticed how dreamy my hair smelled! All TYME products have the same scent, so it’s basically like a built-in perfume and because it’s in your hair, it lasts longer than normal perfume. By the end of week two, my hair felt fuller. My hair wasn’t holding a full style for more than a day, but I was able to salvage and touch up some curls to make styles last for day two. I spent more time with my hair down and styled than pulled back, so I truly was able to realize the change in texture.
Weeks 3 + 4
Total washes: 4
I got bold in week three. I tried stretching my hair out to three days way too soon and ended up having to cheat on the dry shampoo thing. I pulled and stuck to washing every two-days for the rest of this cycle. I was pretty experimental with the TYME brushes, and utilized them in my blow drying. Normally my hair lays flat and I can only get volume from teasing my hair, but combining a DIY blowout with BigTYME made a huge difference.
Weeks 5 + 6
Total washes: 3
The end of the cycle. In week 5, I stretched my first wash out to three days...CURLED. Don’t get me wrong the day three curls weren’t perfect, but they stayed! I waited to wash until day five and didn’t wash again until day nine. That final wash lastest through day 14. My styles were lasting longer and looked effortless.
The Results
Much like your body adjusting to the gym, it took time for my hair to adjust to TYME. I didn’t expect it to be perfect after the first try - although I totally wish the going to the gym worked like that. Consistently blow drying my hair has breathed new life into my hair, and my hair is staying styled longer and isn’t getting greasy as quickly as it used to.
Plain and simple TYME is true to their mission. I spent less time in the bathroom getting ready and even less time worrying about what I looked like.
The Significance
I was a cheerleader for most of my life and always felt like what I looked like mattered. Once I was done with the sport, I stopped spending time “getting ready.” It didn’t seem important anymore. However - spending these six weeks investing in myself, changed my perspective.
Aside from my hair feeling and looking healthier, there was one oddly life-changing realization…the phrase “look good, feel good” is true. Everything from my work to my workouts improved when I knew I looked good. It didn’t matter if anyone told me I looked good, I felt it. I felt cute, like really cute, and you look at the world a little differently when you feel that good about yourself.
How To Resolve The Top 4 Hair Challenges
Read Time: 3 min 50 sec
It can be easy to dissect and pick apart all the details that we don't like about our hair. The color, the cut, the length, the texture, and the list goes on.
Unless you have a stylist at your beck and call, it can feel impossible to get your hair to be exactly the way you want it. We’re going to give you our best tips, tricks, and products to help make your routine a little easier!
Need More Volume?
The Basics: Do you have the type of hair that feels like heavy and silk, baby fine, or limp? Typically flat hair is caused by two things: foundational products and how your hair dries.
The Tricks: We consider foundational products to be products that you use when your hair is wet. Are your shampoo and conditioner heavy and weighing down your hair? This is SUCH a common thing. If your shampoo and conditioner are heavy, you typically feel the need to wash your hair every day, or every other day.
Switching to products that are mild and lightweight will make such a big difference in how your hair performs throughout the day. Blow drying your hair properly will make a HUGE difference in your volume.
For starters, you should always try to blow dry your hair, BUT don’t over-dry! Your hair should always be cool to the touch after blow-drying, never hot! Focus on your roots, and if you're craving serious volume incorporate a round brush into your blow-drying routine.
Prefer to air dry? Consider at least blowdrying at the roots and displacing your part. Brush your hair all to the left, then switch to the right to get as much airflow and lift at the scalp as possible!
The Products: Shampoo & Conditioner: You want to find a duo that won’t weigh your hair down, but still gives you all the healthy goodness. May we suggest Pregame Shampoo and Showoff Conditioner?
;) Our TYME shampoo and conditioner are made from the highest quality ingredients, to make sure your hair is getting everything it NEEDS and nothing to weigh it down.
BigTYME: This powder is a gift from above (pun intended) ;) A few sprays throughout your roots and top of your hair and you’ll be at new heights! Different than your average texture spray, Big TYME is dedicated to giving you a serious lift.
Frizz?
The Basics: Frizz can be caused by a few different things. Heat tools and the environment are among the most common reasons.
10:15
The Tips: When blow-drying, be cognizant of the direction of the airflow vs the direction your hair is laying. You want to blowdry down onto the hair strand, and not directing the airflow back up the hair strand. If you properly direct the airflow this will allow your cuticle layer to lay down smooth, which retains your hair's natural moisture and shine!
If you live in a humid environment, your hair's best friend is moisture! The more moisture your hair already has, the less your hair will react when there is moisture in the air. Your hair will not feel the need to try to draw the moisture from the air into the strand, thus your strands will stay more smooth!
The Products: TYMELESS Repair and Shine Spray: AKA Liquid Gold. We are OBSESSED with this stuff. The more you use it, the less you will feel the need to use it. TYMELESS repairs your hair from the inside out, and adds moisture, allowing your strand to shine!
Take Too Long to Style?
The Basics: When people have long hair or thick hair, styling can be such a pain. As a team of stylists, trust us when we say WE UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN.
The Tricks: Adjust your washing cycle. Once you get a good 3-7 day cycle going, it’s easy to make one hairstyle last days on end. Our whole mission at TYME is to save you time in the bathroom...get it? Time→ TYME? We’ve compiled a plethora of easy hairstyles that will last. Check them out on our blog.
The Products: TYME Iron Pro! This tool takes out a huge factor in styling your hair: sectioning. It is arguably the worst part of styling, and we found a way to get rid of it completely. The curls will last for days, and you will find yourself wondering what life was like before the TYME Iron before you know it.
A good, liveable hairspray. We suggest SelfieTYME. Our hairspray is designed with memory resins to give you all of the hold, with none of the sticky starchiness.
Get Oily Too Fast?
The Basics: This is your hair begging you to stop washing it every day. We recently went in-depth about what the actual oil/grease on your scalp is and why your scalp NEEDS the oils it produces. Get the full scoop here.
The Tricks: Start by skipping a day or two in your washing cycle. Once your hair adjusts to this cycle you’ll notice that eventually, you’ll be able to last 2-4 days without ANY dry shampoo. We’re serious.
If you can, we always recommend blow drying after your shower. Blow drying helps lock in all unique moisture and seals down your cuticle layer. Properly blow-dried hair is cool to the touch and shiny!
The Products: Pregame Shampoo and Showoff Conditioner: We’ve developed the BEST shampoo to make sure your washes last...if we do say so ourselves. Our shampoo and conditioner are designed specifically so you spend less time washing. We want you out there showing off your locks, not trying to start from scratch every day.
Heed our advice and start saving achieving your #HairGoals by spending LESS time in the bathroom!

5 Hairstyles That Take 5 Minutes for Busy Moms
Read Time: 2 min 57 sec Let’s face it after you have kids, time moves a lot faster than it did before. In the first few years of motherhood, it can seem like there are never enough hours in a day to do all of the things we need to, just to get home and cook, clean up, organize everything for your little humans’ tomorrow, and you’re lucky if you have enough energy to stay up for some alone time. It can be a challenge, especially on holidays or special events. How do you find the time to get yourself ready and the rugrats? We’ve found the hairstyles to make those five minutes you get in the bathroom impactful. We’re talking hair totally ready in five minutes. FIVE minutes. Here’s our list of the easiest #trending hairstyles to make you feel like you have your life together, even if your toddler is testing that theory ;) Fishtail Braid Fishtail braids are an easy way to secure your hair back and still have an elevated look. Part your hair into two sections. Take a thin section from the outside of one half of your hair and cross it over top to meet the other half. Repeat on each side through the end of your hair and use a thin ponytail holder or clear poly band to secure the end of the braid. A major key to this hairstyle is that it doesn’t have to be sleek and perfect, it tends to look better a bit messy. Pro-tip: Teach your little ones how to do this on themselves as a challenging task for them and a little relaxation for you! Bob The mom cut, but make it fashion. All jokes aside, this cut SAVES TIME. #FACTS: Adding soft curls to your bob is a quick way to put yourself together and have it last days. Grab larger sections of hair with your TYME Iron and create “C” shaped curls. Don’t over curl! Curling tight or curling your ends will make your bob shrink in length. Once your full head is complete, brush through all of those fresh curls with your hands to create a “lived-in” look. Pro-tip: Make sure the ends of your hair point down, which means drawing your ends down when you curl. This helps create that “lived-in” look and gives a more natural appearance when your curls eventually start to fall. Curtain Bangs For all those mamas that started motherhood with straight bangs, we salute you. Eventually, you might grow those babies out, and styling curtain bangs is a perfect way. The key to styling these bangs is to do it while they’re wet. Lock those little monsters out of the bathroom, grab your round brush and get to work! Dry your bangs at an upward angle focusing on your roots. After your roots are dry, move down to the center of the bangs and dry/round brush them backward to create the “swag” in the bangs. Pro-tip: Blow drying your hair after showering instead of letting your hair air dry will not only let your hairstyle last longer, it will make your wash last longer too! Holidays, Events, and Date Nights? Getting ready for a formal occasion is no longer stressful. Use these go-to hairstyles that take 5-10 minutes to make your beautification process a breeze. Low Bun For an easy - but classy - low bun grab all the hair from the top of your ears and back. Make a looped low bun with the ends of your hair towards the nape of your neck. Grab the excess hair from either side, create a slight twist and wrap over the top of the bun to secure your hair on the underside with a bobby pin. Repeat with the other side off excess hair. Pull some small pieces out to frame your face and give them a slight curl. Half Up-Do Half-up ponies will always be fun! Create a part from the tops of your ears to the crown of your head, pull your hair up into a high pony. To get some extra height secure your hair with a thick ponytail. Grab a small piece of hair from the underside of your pony, wrap it around to hide the ponytail, and secure it with a bobby pin. Toss in some loose curls and some BigTYME Root Lift Powder and you have an amazing look that will last you through tomorrow. You got this, mama! How-To: Silky, Shiny Straight Hair
When straightening your hair, the key is to keep the moisture and shine in your hair. One thing to remember when blow drying is, do not over dry! Over drying will cause hair to look dull and is a sign that hair is not retaining the right amount of moisture. This can lead to frizz, static, breakage, split ends, and in general, a thinner looking hair strand. The good news is, every time you wash your hair, you have the ability to leave in the right amount of moisture and shine, so you can start restoring health and shine the next tyme you wash your hair! See our blow dry tips here. Here are some helpful tips for taming your mane to get silky, shiny straight hair with the TYME Iron Pro!
Start with manageable horizontal sections.
Hold the iron horizontally with your thumb behind the power button and guide side facing down.
Lead each section with a paddle brush to keep hair smooth.
Continue working through next section remembering to brush through each section before straightening for smooth results.
Brush the back sections forward for simplicity.
To avoid creases at the top, don’t clamp down too hard when you close your iron.
To prevent frizz, use light tension and keep plates parallel to the hair strand.
Glide down the hair strand at a slow but steady pace to prevent frizz.
The smaller the horizontal section, the closer to the scalp you can get.

5 Easy 2019 Fall Hair Styles
Read Time: 2 min 30sec Hello, hot lattes, apple cider, and scarves! FALL. IS. HERE. We’ve been dying to get back into our comfy sweaters! As the season transitions though, we’re in the “winter in the AM, summer in the PM” part of the cycle. Getting ready for the day is hard when we know we’re going to hit a two-hour span of steamy weather. Especially when it comes to our hair. Luckily TYME has done all the leg work and figured out the best possible transitioning hairstyles for us. Now we can spend more time exploring pumpkin patches and enjoying the weather instead of dreading what our hair will look post-mid-afternoon surge of heat. Below is a list of the best hair trends for Fall 2019 that work for our current transition phase through winter. Soft Waves/Brushed Out Curls Of course, the perfect fall hairstyle is TYME Iron friendly! Quickly create curls throughout your hair with small sections. Don’t try to perfect them! You’re literally about to brush through all of them, now is not the time to be a perfectionist. Let them cool, then hairspray the curls. After the hairspray has set the curls, take your detangling brush and comb through those locks! It will loosen the curls and you’ll be left with soft waves that will stand up with any fall day and outfit! "Crimped" or Glam Waves The ’90s are back and thriving. This includes the wardrobes (overalls we missed you), a revival of Woodstock, and yes our queen Lizzie McGuire’s crimped hair. We aren't obsessed with the old-school ways of crimping, but that being said if you create curls from small sections it can give a similar, yet refined, look. BONUS: Brush them out, and you get a more polished and elegant style! Headbands One of the cutest and easiest ways to transition into a fall aesthetic is accessories! We’re especially huge advocates of hair accessories. Nothing takes an all-black ensemble from American Horror Story to Breakfast at Tiffany's like a headband. Repurpose day-old - or week-old - curls with either a hair scarf, traditional headband, head wrap, or if you’re truly feelin’ yourself - a tiara. Pro-Tip: Use BigTYME to fluff up your hair at the roots. The headband is going to create a part that your hair isn’t used to, so make sure it has VOLUME - especially around your ears and the crown of your head. Deep Side Part Fall date nights are SCREAMING for a deep side part. Not only does this hairstyle give you a sultry look, but it also adds extra volume! Moving your part even just a half-inch will give the illusion of fuller, thicker hair. Grab your paddle brush, comb your full head of hair back and take the leap! Having a deeper part will change you. AND you’ll naturally want to fluff your hair, creating the perfect messy, lived-in look. Nothing is more fall than messy and lived-in, right? Low Ponytails We love messy and lived in, but sometimes we have to give off a more refined vibe. This is where low ponytails come into play. Even pulling back day 4 (...5, 6, or 7+) messy hair into a low pony can give off a professional appearance. Whether it be a sleek or messy ponytail, don't forget about adding some volume to the crown of your head. Adding a few pumps of BigTYME and a slight tease takes you from “I just rolled out of bed” to “I have my entire life together” in seconds! Take advantage of these easy fall hairstyles and SLAY this season! For more tips and hair tutorials, follow us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.

How The TYME Iron Can Replace All Your Current Hair Irons
Read Time: 3 min 5 sec We’re here to Marie Kondo your bathroom. We all have that one bathroom drawer filled with a straightener, a wand, a curling iron, a blow dryer, brushes, loose ponytails, and an ungodly amount bobby pins that we can conveniently NEVER find. There is one easy way to declutter this space: the TYME Iron. “But can the TYME Iron do ___?” It is the most popular question we hear. The answer: YES!!! The TYME Iron is here to replace all of your curling irons, wands, and your straightener! Curling irons and wands curl your hair by applying direct heat for a significant amount of time, starting from the ends of your hair, and ending at the root. We thought this seemed a little backward. With the TYME iron’s patented angled design, we’re able to start the curl at the top of the hair strand (where your hair is the hardest to curl) and end at the bottom (where your hair is the driest, and easiest to curl) The heat only needs to be applied to the hair strand for a very short amount of time. So long to the days of holding the iron in one place waiting for the hair to heat. TYME flash heats and cools your hair instantly, allowing the curls to form faster, and last longer than that of traditional hair irons. This is where we’ve found one of our favorite lines: “where hair cools is where it stays” ;) We’re going to dive in and do a side-by-side comparison of the most popular curling iron and wand sizes versus the TYME Iron. 1” Iron Type of Curl: Spiral This iron is the most versatile. Almost any hair type will have a longer-lasting curl from this size barrel. To achieve a spiral curl with the TYME Iron, grab a section of hair (the smaller the section the tighter the curl) hold your iron at a 90-degree angle, rotate your iron all the way back, pull straight forward and down towards your mirror and stay in close next to your head.1.25” Iron Type of Curl: Romantic Waves A 1.25” iron or wand will create tighter curls, slightly looser than a 1” iron. The hack to getting them to have a romantic or smoothed-out look is to brush through them after curling. To achieve this look with a TYME Iron, rotate back a medium amount (curved opening should be towards the ceiling). From here, you have the option to hold your iron straight up and down, or at an angle depending on if you want more or less volume with this style. Pro tip: If you’re trying to go for a “glam” style, curl towards your face and brush out the curls and form them together to create the “finger wave” look :) 1.5” Iron Type of Curl: Beach Waves These are the highest trending curls right now. The best part about achieving this style with the TYME Iron: your curls STAY how you curl them! So many women have to curl their hair tighter than they want to wear them because by day 2 or 3 they will look how they wanted them to look. This is a thing of the past! Beach waves can be messy, and this is the fun part! Grab whatever sized section of hair and angle your TYME iron vertically. Rotate back about just until your wrist is straight, and move in a forward, down direction towards the mirror. “Drawing” your iron down will allow your curls to lean out, and will create that effortless, just stepped off the beach style! Pro tip: Try not curling all the way through! Leaving out your ends is another way to exaggerate the beachy style. 2” Iron Type of Curl: Loose and Relaxed (Start video at 16 minutes) A two-inch iron is close to the same size as a lot of round brushes, meaning its the best size for a fake blow out. Of course, our blow dryer matched with our round brush is the ideal duo for a blowout, but there’s an iron hack too! Grab a fairly large section of hair and angle your iron extremely horizontal, but with the tip (right side) or end (left side) angled slightly upwards. Rotate back very softly, and glide nice and slow towards your mirror. You should end up with a barely rounded section! Ultimately, it’s all about hitting those different angles and rotations!! It's the key to successfully creating any style with the TYME Iron.
