- Check your credit card or PayPal statement. Orders placed on TYMESTYLE.COM using a credit card will show up on your statement as "SP * TYMESTYLE.COM". Orders placed using PayPal will show up from "TYME LLC".
- Does the seller reference "Mestar"? Some of the most prolific counterfeit sites are advertising the Mestar Iron Pro using TYME branded content, photos, and videos.
What can you do?
If you've been a victim of a knockoff seller, there are some things you can do to get your money back as well as help the cause in battling these fraudsters:
- Try contacting the seller first. You'll want to start by reaching out to the customer service contact information you received in the confirmation email. Many times though, fraudsters will list our contact information for purchases made from their site.
- File a chargeback claim with your financial institution. In the event that you do not get any response from the seller, you can file a chargeback claim with the provider that you used to make the purchase (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc).
- Report ads or posts for counterfeit products. Most search engines and social platforms have the ability for you to report ads and posts. Doing this is extremely helpful in the fight against these fraudsters.
