How much does delivery cost? There is no charge for email delivery. For shipments that contain E-Gift Cards and other items, shipping and handling charges will be based upon the amount of the merchandise purchased. E-Gift Card amounts are not included in the calculation of shipping and handling charges.

On the Billing page, enter your tymestyle.com E-Gift Card code along with a valid credit card. When the total amount of your order is more than the total value on your tymestyle.com E-Gift Card, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance. All of the value on your tymestyle.com E-Gift Card will be used first before any amount is charged to your credit card.

When the amount of your order is less than the value on your tymestyle.com E-Gift Card, your credit card will not be charged. Any unused balance will remain on your tymestyle.com E-Gift Card.

Only one tymestyle.com E-Gift Card may be used per order at tymestyle.com.

Sales Tax: No sales tax is charged when buying TYME E-Gift Cards. Purchases paid for with TYME E-Gift Cards are subject to applicable sales tax.

Getting Started with your Tyme Iron Air

Safety and Prep

  1. Work on dry hair only. Heat tools on damp hair can cause damage.
  2. Use a heat protectant spray or cream on all hair.
  3. Plug in, turn the tool on and set desired temperature. Let it fully heat up. (once fully heated the cooling air vents will turn on) 

TYME Air temperature range is typically shown in their guides (typical range ~280–430°F) — choose based on hair type below.

Temperature Guide:

  • Fine / chemically treated: 280–320°F
  • Medium / normal: 320–370°F
  • Thick / coarse: 370–430°F
     Adjust down if your hair is fragile or you see smoke.

How to curl with the TYME Iron Air

TYME Air uses heat + cool-air vents to “set” curls — you heat to shape, then the cool air helps lock them in. Use medium sections for bouncy, long-lasting curls.

  1. Section hair. Divide into 2-3 horizontal layers (nape → crown). Clip upper layers up. Work with 1–1.5 inch wide subsections.
  2. Prep the strand. Comb each subsection smoothly. Spray a light heat protectant and texturizing spray if you want more hold.
  3. Clamp and twist:
  • Place the TYME Air around the mid-length of the strand (not the root).
  • Twist the tool away from your face (or toward — pick one direction per side for symmetrical curls). The TYME technique often combines a twist + slight pull to create a curl shape rather than wrapping. Start with the clamp closed and rotate the tool so hair wraps around the heated face.
  1. Apply heat briefly. Slowly pull down the tool through the hair strand, taking about 6–10 seconds depending on hair thickness (thicker needs longer). Using the cooling air vents will set your curls faster and help them hold longer.
  2. Repeat across the head working upward, keeping consistent subsection sizes and same twist amount so curls match.
  3. Finish & style: Let all curls cool. Run fingers or a wide tooth comb through to loosen the curls for a more natural look. Finish with a light hold spray & argan oil serum.

How to straighten with the TYME Iron Air

The tool doubles as a straightening iron — use a slow, steady glide and small sections for best results.

  1. Section hair. Same as curling, 2-3 layers and ½–1 inch subsections for sleek results.
  2. Comb through each subsection so it’s smooth and tangle free.
  3. Clamp near the root (but not at the scalp) with the heated plates closed.
  4. Glide slowly down the strand. Keep the clamp closed and glide the tool down the strand from root to tip in one smooth motion. Avoid multiple back-and-forth passes; one steady pass per subsection reduces heat damage.

Common problems & fixes

  • Curls fall flat quickly: Use smaller subsections, let curls cool fully before touching, and use a light hairspray. TYME’s cool-air setting helps set curls — be sure to use it.
  • Hair looks fried or frizzy: Lower temperature, use a high-quality heat protectant, and avoid repeated passes on the same section.
